At Kind Garden Co, we believe every garden should be connected to our amazing web of life, creating food for both you and your local animal communities. I help families create gardens with purpose - from dream kitchen garden to thriving native plant paradises. Through my consultation, design, and coaching services, I can help you be the gardener you want to see in the world.

  1. Knowing Your Place

My favorite thing about gardening is how it requires us to intimately know our bioregion. To have a successful garden, whether its vegetables or native plants, you need to build an understanding of your seasons and property conditions. I can help!

2. Selecting the Right Materials

Set yourself up for success by receiving recommending the highest quality soil blend, structures, and garden layout for your unique gardening goals.

3. Working with Nature

While “right plant, right place” is key for native plants, “right plant, right time” is key for kitchen gardens. I’ll help you understand what plants thrive in different seasons and conditions so you can become an expert.

Our Services

  • For gardeners in the Tampa Bay region, I offer 60 minute in-person consultations at your property. We will review the specific conditions of your location and I’ll get an understanding of your unique aspirations and potential challenges. Every consultation includes a custom plan with recommendations following our consultation.

  • After an initial consultation to better know your location and your goals, I offer custom design services for clients that would like me to show them exactly how to build their dream garden. Designs include garden layout as well as an estimate of how much material (soil, wood, plants) to order.

  • For gardeners that would like on-going help with an existing garden, I offer mentoring services on a quarterly or monthly basis. Mentoring can happen in person or virtually for gardeners who do not live in the Tampa Bay region. As a Gardenary Certified Consultant, I help folks across the southeast learn how they can grow healthy, ethical food - while also creating abundant native gardens that help wildlife.

I am a mother, fourth-generation Floridian, biologist, educator, sustainability professional, and life-long learner. Gardening is the component of my life that connects all of these many identities. And nothing brings me more joy than helping clients grow gardens that help their ecosystems.

Whether you have a big backyard or just a few pots on a patio, I’ll show you simple, family-friendly ways to grow nourishing food and build a space where nature thrives in the South.
